Ski schools and ski courses in the ski area Maria Alm at the stony sea

The Hochkönig ski area stretches over the villages of Maria Alm, Dienten and Mühlbach and, with 33 cable cars and lifts, is one of the largest in the Salzburger Land. On 120 kilometers of slopes, the feeling of freedom is your constant companion, as is the impressive view of the Hochkönig Massif and the Steinerne Meer. In the middle of this majestic mountain world lies the holiday resort Maria Alm, which is the largest of the three villages

Experience the King Tour
A ski circuit with breathtaking panorama 6 peaks, 35 continuous kilometres of slopes, 7,500 metres in altitude.

These are the bare figures of the royal tour in the Hochkönig ski area, which was awarded as the best ski round in the Alps by the world's largest test portal. But there is much more behind these figures: breathtaking views for new high feelings and perfectly groomed pistes for unlimited skiing pleasure.

Along the tour, regional delicacies and culinary delights of the highest standard await you, from romantic to modern interpreted ski huts. A short break in between is not only worthwhile at one of the many huts, but also at the most beautiful vantage points. They are marked with oversized wooden thrones and some are also equipped with a photo point. The ski tour itself can be started from all three locations (Maria Alm, Dienten and Mühlbach) and is clearly marked throughout the ski area.
Action & Fun in and around the skiing area
Families and winter sports enthusiasts who are looking for variety and fun along the ski slopes are just right at Aberg.

A funslope stretches along the 6-seater chairlift Schönanger and leads over 850 meters with steep turns, small jumps, a giant snail as well as funny sounds almost to the valley station of the Schönangerbahn. There the anticipation rises not only with the smallest skiers.
