Ski schools and ski courses in the ski area Glungezer

The cable car climbs 1354 meters in altitude. The cable car is divided into two sections (Glungezerbahn I and II) and two middle stations, about 50 meters apart. The Glungezerbahn I (Lage) was a chairlift manufactured by Swoboda from 1967 to 2018. Since December 2018, a 10-passenger monocable gondola lift from Doppelmayr has been running in 6.5 minutes from the bottom station in Tulfes to the Halsmarter middle station.

It has an inclined length of 1797 m and a transport capacity of 960 passengers per hour[1] The Glungezerbahn II (Lage) is a combined lift and is operated as a single-seater chairlift in summer and as a surface lift in winter.

The valley station is located in Tulfes (district Innsbruck-Land), approx. 8 km from Hall in Tirol and 12 km from Innsbruck.
