Ski schools and ski areas in Gosau!

When gentle hills on the left and right side of the valley arrange themselves with pretty houses, small churches and stylish country houses, you have arrived in the Gosau Valley. The view makes you think of childhood days and you just want to run, feel the vastness and breathe in the fresh air. But this is only the first impression. Because from here it goes on, up to the alpine pastures, to the Vorderen and Hinteren Gosausee, very close to the Dachstein glacier.

Gosau is an extensive valley at the foot of the Dachstein. Along the Gosaubach, the World Heritage Site runs from the Vordertal, over the Mittertal to Gosau Hintertal, where the Gosaukamm defines the natural border of the village. You can't be much closer to the mountain than in Gosau. From here you can take the cable car to the Zwieselalm with its huts. In winter, two cable cars take you up to the winter sports and ski touring paradise Dachstein West.
