Bad Gastein is connected to Bad Hofgastein via the ski resort of Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel. The 650 m long Funslope Gastein is located on the Bad Hofgasteiner side of the ski resort, whilst the Snowpark in Bad Gastein entices the Freestylers. A special experience is the yearly “Red Bull PlayStreets“, which takes place in the streets of Bad Gastein. Out of 160 cubic metres of wood and 800 lorry loads of snow, a dynamic course in built in the town centre, on which 19 athletes of the international Freestyle skiing elite can put their skills to the test. It could be possible that you stand there with your mouth wide open in awe at the high sporting performances of the Freestyle pro’s. The ski equipment can be rented at the local ski rental and snowboard rental for the duration of your stay.
