The Markbachjoch/Lanerköpfl - Niederau ski area is located in the Wildschönau (Austria, Tyrol, Tyrolean Unterland, Kufstein). For skiing and snowboarding there are 24 km of slopes and 4 km of ski routes available. 12 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area lies at an altitude of 828 to 1,621 m.
The ski area in Niederau is not connected by pistes and lifts with the main ski area of the ski jewel Alpbachtal Wildschönau. And yet the slopes at Markbachjoch and Lanerköpfl offer great skiing fun. The winter sports area scores points with slopes of all levels of difficulty, with beginners and children feeling particularly well looked after in the valley area.
