Après-Ski Ried in the Zillertal
After skiing, the day in Ried is far from over. Thanks to the proximity to the centres of Fügen and Kaltenbach and the alpine environment, the offer is extremely varied. The winter landscape invites you to go hiking, for example directly on the Ziller. Along the river, the Zillertalpromenade runs for around 60 km through the entire valley from Mayrhofen in the south to Fügen-Strass in the north. It's best to take a sledge with you and hike to the starting points of rapid toboggan runs. Popular downhill runs can be found on various natural toboggan runs in Ried's neighbouring communities of Stumm and Uderns as well as on Fügenberg or in Hochfügen, some of which are also illuminated in the evening. Those who prefer gliding over the ice on skates will find an ice rink and a curling rink in Stumm as well as other skating rinks in Fügen and Kaltenbach. These two towns are also the starting point for a varied evening programme from ice disco to après-ski party.

Water rats and wellness fans should not miss the Erlebnis-Therme Zillertal in nearby Fügen. From spectacular water slides to a wellness area with sauna landscape, every member of the family will find extensive spa fun here.
Snowpark: Ried im Zillertal
Freestyle fans and snowboarders will find several fun parks in the surrounding ski areas. Particularly recommendable and quickly accessible from Ried is the "Betterpark" in the Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski area. It is located directly next to the 8-seater chairlift Schnee Express at an altitude of 2,120 m.

The park has three lines with different levels of difficulty for beginners, intermediates and professionals. An additional treat is the jib line at the end of the park, which offers different boxes and rails. The biggest highlight is probably equally the XL kicker, which promises a corresponding show for the observers in the chairlift, and the 100 m long superpipe, which is located slightly below the park at an altitude of 1,950 m. After a long freestyle day or just to take a break during the runs, the chill area with container, deck chairs and appropriate sound system invites you to linger.
