The Mölltal Glacier - is open all year round and is located in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park region, just a few kilometers from the community of Flattach.
One of Austria's eight glaciers guarantees first-class snow conditions for up to 330 days a year and thus offers ideal conditions for skiing for the general public as well as ski clubs and associations. Everyone who has ever stood on the top of Schareck and enjoyed breathtaking views of the adjacent Gastein Valley will come back to the Mölltal Glacier.
In the ski area you will find a total of 9 cable cars and lifts, 24 km of ski slopes with a total area of more than 210 ha. More than 90% of them are artificially snowed in. To get to the ski area, one uses a funicular, which runs through a tunnel. Immediately after getting off, you can enjoy snow experiences on wide slopes up to 3000 m above sea level.
