Ski schools and ski courses in the tourismus area Ski Gastein

The Gastein region comprises 1 valley,
3 ski resorts, 5 peaks and 2 spas.

The ski resorts in the 3 Gastein resorts invite you to ski and snowboard in a class of their own. In the first village of the valley, Dorfgastein, perfect slopes await you at the Fulseck ski mountain, including the ski swing to the neighbouring Großarl valley. Then it goes on to the villages Bad Hofgastein and Bad Gastein, which are connected by the ski area Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel. In Bad Gastein there is another mountain and therefore another ski area, the Graukogel. And the high-alpine ski area Sportgastein is, as the name suggests, something for sporty skiers and also a freeride El Dorado. At 2,686 m, it offers the best conditions for freeriders on 3 routes - snow guarantee included. You see, in Gastein you will find the right ski offer for every skill level. Sporty skiers love the countless rapid descents, while comfortable skiers are in good hands on the many red and blue ski slopes. All in all, more than 200 km of slopes are waiting to be discovered by you in the ski region. And there's also the snowpark Gastein on the Stubnerkogel, if you're too safe on the boards and count yourself among the freestylers. If you still need to practice or explore the ski area with your children, then you are better off in the Gasti snow parks with their special practice slopes. Since Gastein is part of Ski amadé, all these slopes and also those in the neighbouring ski regions can be skied with just 1 ski pass.

The local ski schools and snowboard schools will be happy to help you make your first turns on the slopes or perfect your already advanced skiing technique - depending on your requirements the ski courses have a wide offer for you. And because skiing and snowboarding also require good equipment, you can rent it online right away. Just click your way in and find the right offer for you.

The ski area in Gastein is situated high up and is also incredibly beautiful, as you may already be able to imagine. That's why there are several vantage points here that give you breathtaking views. For example, Europe's highest suspension bridge on the Stubnerkogel at 2,300 m, or the Glocknerblick viewing platform, also on the Stubnerkogel. At the Kreuzkogel, the highest peak in Ski amadé, another highlight is tempting: a glass-aluminium dome has been erected here, where you can book breakfast once a week, accompanied by the incomparable view of the surrounding 400 mountain peaks.

The extensive offer of the ski region is rounded off by cool events, such as the Red Bull Playstreets, the scene highlight, where freestylers and snowboarders jump over the roofs of Bad Gastein, or the Sound and Snow Festival, which brings international DJs on stage.
