Ebene Reichenau is a small village at the foot of the Turracher Höhe that offers you relaxation, recreation and variety. If you are looking for a particularly quiet, idyllic place to relax and hike, the village of St. Lorenzen (1,475 m), 6 km from Ebene Reichenau, is the insider tip. It is not only the oldest settlement in this area, but also the highest situated parish village in Carinthia and a place of pilgrimage: on August 15th, a pilgrimage from Ebene Reichenau to St. Lorenzen to the St. Anna church. Afterwards a big custom day takes place in the open air with the old tradition of wrestling. Patergassen is located 6 km south of Ebene Reichenau. From Patergassen you can quickly reach our neighboring community Bad Kleinkirchheim with the thermal baths Römerbad and St. Kathrein. Wiedweg is the south-easternmost village of the community of Reichenau, from where you have the shortest way to the thermal baths in Bad Kleinkirchheim and the nearby Millstätter See.
